This week has been super productive. I was able to collect all of my products and i'm ready to start selling next week. But there is currently a roadblock in my way. I need to check with people about advertising the product but other than that i think we are in the green. We just received stickers and we are going to get shirts and hats soon also. We also are going good food wise and i'm planning to sell food next week also. I've managed to get some good friends of mines to spread the word. We are hopefully going to advertise in school through the bulletin or Puka Mai Ka La but it depends on what the person i need to speak with says. If not i can spread the information by word of mouth. Where we sell the products and how we advertise it depends heavily on what the person i need to speak to says. But those obstacles will hopefully small and we will prevail! I'm really becoming anxious to start helping those in need. I will begin selling next week Tuesday and continue selling for the next 2-3 weeks after that.
It's the end of the first week and i'm excited to begin raising money for our organization. We have worked diligently to create this website and now we are proud to finally post it online! The beginning of the week was tough when we had to find ways to raise money for the organization but we were able to push through and find that we should do a push-up-a-thon and a food fundraiser. I'm in charge of the food fundraiser and i had some problems with choosing the products, how much to sell them for and where to do it at but after talking to my teachers and parents it went pretty smoothly. I found out what my mom could help me make and how much the average price is to sell one and still make a profit. I also was able to be ahead of the game and even get a logo for our group from my Cousin. So far the problems haven't been to bad and there hasn't been any huge obstacles in our way but i think we are prepared to take them on. All of this money is going to the organization to help those in need. We hope to share aloha with our family in Japan.
